Description
Photo reproduction and caption provided by Dwight Smith in 1986.
Photo caption: The original North School building. An elementary school, it moved over and made room for High School classes during the time the High School was building its own building. It was located at the site of the present day elementary school on the North side of Glen Street between Park and Forest Avenues. The school burned in 1925, and was rebuilt the following year. Additions have been made through the years. But part of the original building remain, and are incorporated into the present structure.
Date: 1919.
